Alpha Zoo salmon oil is extracted from Norwegian salmon and is a high-quality supplement that provides valuable marine omega-3 fatty acids. Polyunsaturated fatty acids are an important part of a balanced diet; they act as an effective energy source and are necessary for the body to absorb fat-soluble vitamins from food. The oil is excellent for raw feeding (BARF) as well as a supplement to wet or dry food for both dogs and cats.
The oil provides the essential marine omega-3 fatty acids EPA (3.2%) and DHA (4.1%), which are mainly found in fish oils. The natural fatty acid profile is complemented by linolenic acid, linoleic acid, and oleic acid. Gently produced in Germany without any artificial additives!
Daily feeding recommendation:
- Dogs 30–40kg: 20ml daily
- Dogs 20–30kg: 15ml daily
- Dogs 10–20kg: 10ml daily
- Dogs up to 10kg: 5ml daily
- Cats: 2.5ml daily
Tip: One teaspoon corresponds to approximately 5ml and one tablespoon to approximately 15ml. Rotate the bottle gently in circular motions before use – vigorous shaking can lead to spills. The oil can be advantageously mixed with a little water, unsalted broth, or stirred into favorite food if the animal is picky.
