EVENING PRIMROSE OIL
Alpha Zoo evening primrose oil is a gently cold-pressed feed oil that can be easily integrated into daily feeding. The oil is extracted from the seeds of the evening primrose plant and provides valuable essential fatty acids that dogs and cats need to obtain through their food.
Evening primrose oil naturally contains linoleic acid, gamma-linolenic acid, and oleic acid, which participate in the body's various metabolic processes. Fats also serve as an important energy source and are necessary for the body to absorb fat-soluble vitamins from food. Perfectly suited for raw feeding (BARF) as well as a nutritious supplement to wet or dry food!
Daily feeding recommendation:
- Dogs 30–40kg: 20ml daily
- Dogs 20–30kg: 15ml daily
- Dogs 10–20kg: 10ml daily
- Dogs up to 10kg: 5ml daily
- Cats: 2.5ml daily
Tip: One teaspoon corresponds to approximately 5ml and one tablespoon to approximately 15ml. Rotate the bottle gently in circular motions before use; vigorous shaking can lead to spills. The oil can advantageously be mixed with a little water, unsalted broth, or stirred into favorite food if the animal is picky.
